This course will provide educators with ideas for ways to build a growth mindset school culture, wherein students are challenged to change their thinking about their abilities and potential. Students who learn that hard work and effort can lead to success, actually do become successful! This course will introduce ways to adopt a differentiated, responsive instruction model that teachers can use immediately in their classrooms. It also discusses the importance of critical thinking and teaching students to learn from failure; and ideas for communicating the mindset concept to parents. Teachers can grow a love of learning in their students in introducing the growth mindset strategies.

This course is appropriate for both general education and special education teachers of students in grades K-12 and is worth 45 hours of professional development.
